OPENTIX Ticket Refund Application

OPENTIX is here to assist you with your online application for ticket refund.
Before request, please note:
  1. Please use Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari as some of our service features do not support Internet Explorer.
  2. Ticket refund can be processed only within prescribed time frame. Please verify program/event refund policy accordingly.
  3. Maximum 15 tickets per application. If there are more than 15 tickets, please separate the tickets into multiple applications.
  4. Tickets purchased from the organizer are not applicable. Please check the payment code. (If the ticket was purchased from the organizer, Code “B” would be marked next to the price on your printed ticket. Please contact the organizer for refund/cancellation.)




Application Options


  • This service applies only to online bookings with printed tickets that have not yet been collected or in-APP e-tickets. If you have collected your tickets, please bring them or send them through registered mail to OPENTIX service offices in Taipei, Taichung,Tainan or Kaohsiung within the prescribed time frame.
  • A refund request must be made at least one day before the performance for programs organized by the National Performing Arts Centers, including National Theater & Concert Hall, National Taichung Theater, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) and National Symphony Orchestra.
  • For programs organized by other presenters, a refund request must be made at least 10 days before the performance. For example, a ticket for a program on February 15 has to be exchanged or refunded before February 5, unless it is specified otherwise by the presenter.
  • For refund, A 10% handling fee of the original purchased price will be charged (For example, a payment of NTD 1,000 receives a refund of NTD 900), unless the presenter specifies it otherwise.
  • Please confirm if the program you wish to refund is postponed on OPENTIX website, and further request a refund within the prescribed time frame.
  • This service is for tickets purchased via cash. (On your printed ticket, Code “C” is marked next to the price)
  • For tickets purchased via credit card, OPENTIX will issue refund to the origin card.
  • No handling fee will be charged for ticket cancellation. After receiving your application, the refund will be remitted to your designated account within 7-12 working days.
  • This service is for program postponed due to COVID-19 concerns only. Please confirm if the program you wish to refund is postponed on OPENTIX website, and further request a refund within the prescribed time frame.
  • If you haven’t collected your tickets, please choose Service No.1 “Refund Application for Ticket Purchase via Credit Card (For ticket purchased not on the Day of Performance)”.
  • No handling fee will be charged for ticket cancellation requests within the prescribed refund time frame.

Refund Application Notice

  1. Bookings that have been refunded cannot be restored. Please reconfirm provided information before completing the application.
  2. No handling fee will be charged for cancelled or postponed program. For other programs, a handling fee will be charged according to the organizers’ refund terms.
  3. Refund for tickets purchased via cash will be remitted to your designated account within 7-12 working days. For tickets purchased via credit cards, OPENTIX will issue refund to the origin card; you can inquire the issuing bank in 7-10 working days.
